NuPlay mulch enables children to stay cleaner when jumping and falling on the surface because it will not create dust, deteriorate or absorb water. It drains well and dries quickly so children can return to the playground sooner.

One of the most important benefits of NuPlay mulch for playground surfaces is the safety that it provides to children. It is made of 100% recycled tires but is completely free of steel belts and threads. The U.S. Product Safety Commission cites falls to surfaces under and around playground equipment as a contributing factor in more than 70% of the reported incidents. An independent test lab determined that NuPlay mulch was safe to almost twice the height of other popular playground materials including sand and wood chips.
